2009 bicycle motocross worlds to be held in Australia

Updated: 2006-09-20 14:49 is awarded the right to host
the 2009 BMX world championships, the International Cycling Union announced on
Wednesday.
The bicycle motocross championships are expected draw around 1800 entrants
from 35 countries and regions.
BMX will be included on the Olympic programme for the first time at Beijing
in 2008.
