HK lawmaker on the opposition's pre-election campaign

It will be "unacceptable" if the opposition camp's primary election, to be held this weekend, is used to promote their political agenda or to cover up plots against the "one country" principle, says Starry Lee Wai-king, incumbent chairperson of Hong Kong Legislative Council's House Committee.
Lee warned that if the opposition parties get what they want in September's Legislative Council election, the legislature might be paralyzed. This would pose a serious risk to the whole city, she told China Daily.
