China Coast Guard conducts law enforcement patrols around China's Huangyan Island on Wednesday

The China Coast Guard announced that it conducted a law enforcement patrol in the territorial waters and surrounding areas of China's Huangyan Island in the South China Sea on Wednesday.
In a brief statement, the CCG said that it has intensified regular patrols around the island and its adjacent waters since the beginning of April, employing measures such as tracking and surveillance, issuing verbal warnings, and intercepting unauthorized vessels.
The actions aim to strengthen maritime management and firmly safeguard China's territorial sovereignty and maritime rights, the CCG added.
