Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning, the eighth installment in Tom Cruise's iconic 30-year-old action franchise, has claimed the top spot in the presale box-office charts of the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival.
According to entertainment live tracker Maoyan Pro, the film — set for release in theaters on the Chinese mainland on May 30 — has grossed over 16 million yuan ($2.2 million) in presales as of Thursday, with men comprising 65 percent of ticket buyers.
