Chinese, Indian militaries hold 'positive, in-depth' talks on border management
Chinese and Indian militaries held "positive and in-depth" talks on border management on Saturday, the Chinese Ministry of National Defense said on Wednesday.
According to a news release by the ministry, the 23rd round of general-level talks on border management between the two militaries took place at the Moldo-Chushul border meeting point on the Indian side.
The two sides engaged in "positive and in-depth" communications on management and control along the China-India border's western sector, it said.
Both sides agreed to take guidance from the important consensus of the two countries' leaders, and to maintain communication and dialogue through military and diplomatic channels, so as to jointly safeguard peace and tranquility in the China-India border areas.
