Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian has accused foreign media of twisting facts and attempting to sow discord between China and Honduras after reports indicated the new Honduran government is planning to review its predecessor's agreements with China.

Speaking on Friday, Lin noted that, since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China and Honduras have engaged in mutually beneficial cooperation based on mutual respect and consultation, delivering tangible benefits to both peoples and garnering broad public support.

Lin stressed that China-Honduras cooperation is not aimed at a third party and should not be disrupted by any third party. He added that the legitimate rights and interests of the Chinese side must be fully respected.
