China's simplified procedures facilitate the entry of foreign tourists
"Impromptu trips" are becoming a reality for an increasing number of foreign visitors as China continues to expand visa-free entry. Official data says that from May 1 to 5, Beijing's ports of entry recorded 111,000 inbound and outbound trips by foreign nationals, up 20.5 percent year-on-year. In response to the increasing number of foreign travelers, the Beijing General Station of Immigration Inspection has rolled out a series of measures to provide a smoother, more convenient customs experience.
From growing passenger numbers to improved travel experiences, and from expanded policy support to more efficient services, China is enabling inbound and outbound travelers to experience the country's openness and hospitality through its increasingly streamlined procedures and continuously upgraded services.
