In an exclusive interview with China Perspective, Sean Stein, president of the US-China Business Council, pointed to two key areas where both governments could work together to manage trade differences, namely, achieving a more balanced trade relationship and creating a smoother path for Chinese companies to invest in the US market.
"Many Chinese companies are — and will be — global powerhouses. They want to be in the US for the same reasons American companies are in China: to be close to consumers, close to supply chains, and for compliance. I'm hoping to see progress on that," Stein said.
