Peking University granted the title of honorary professor to Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon on Tuesday, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to deepening China-Tajikistan friendship and cooperation, safeguarding regional peace and development, and promoting reforms in global and regional governance systems.
The ceremony was held in Beijing during his four-day state visit to China at the invitation of President Xi Jinping.
