Meanwhile, it focuses on attracting official investment promotion agencies from BRICS countries to facilitate efficient market and resource connections within BRICS and the "BRICS plus" framework.
The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency has already signed an agreement and plans to establish a presence at the port by the end of May. It will provide services covering investment policies, opportunity matching, and market entry support for Brazil.
The service hub also features a sourcing center for smart manufacturing outbound products and business meeting spaces. These facilities serve as a platform to showcase and promote "Intelligent Manufacturing in China" to BRICS markets, helping enterprises overcome the final hurdles in their overseas expansion.
Why Xiamen
-
Xiamen is one of the most economically competitive cities in China and was one of the first Special Economic Zones on the Chinese mainland. As a vice-provincial city independently listed on the State development plan, it has provincial-level authority in economic administration and local legislative power. In 2010, the Xiamen SEZ was expanded to cover the entire municipality. Today, Xiamen is a modern and international port city.
