Insurance: Axa gets branch nod in Guangdong(Shanghai Daily)Updated: 2007-01-25 13:53 Axa Asia Pacific Holdings Ltd, a unit of France's biggest insurer, received regulatory approval to open a life insurance branch in Foshan, Guangdong Province, its fourth in China. Axa-Minmetals Assurance Co, a venture between China Minmetals Corp, the nation's biggest state-owned metals trader, Melbourne-based Axa Asia and France's Axa SA, was given the license by the China Insurance Regulatory Commission.
