Updated: 2008-06-09 10:44 The World Bank recently approved three loans, valued at $441 million last week, to support projects such as China's energy-efficiency financing project (in addition to $13.5 million from the Global Environment Facility) and the Shandong Smoke Desulphurization project. The funds are aimed at helping China improve its energy efficiency and reduce power plant emissions.
