China's auto sales expected to hit 18m units this yr

BEIJING - China's auto sales are expected to reach 18 million units this year as sales in the first 11 months hit 16.4 million units, figures released Thursday by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) showed.

China overtook the United States last year to become the world's largest auto market by selling 13.7 million vehicles.
