HONG KONG -- The gold price in Hong Kong went down HK$98 to open at HK$15,750 per tael on Friday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,704.38 a troy ounce, down $10.61 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.757.
