The Hong Kong government announced on Thursday that Fanny Ho Yin-fee has been appointed as a full-time member of the Central Policy Unit, or CPU.

Ho is an experienced professional in the fields of economics and finance. She has worked in both the public and private sectors including the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Pinnacle Associates Limited and Merrill Lynch.

She will assist the CPU head, advising on public policies, in particular economic development strategy, financial development, industry development, and economic co-operation with the mainland.
