In China, Honeywell Hometown Solutions aims to help educate and empower students, especially those living below the poverty line.

During the past five years, Honeywell Aerospace has donated almost 21,500 books and more than 67 computers to schools in Shuangjiang in Yunnan province, Mianyang in Sichuan province, Lhasa in the Tibet autonomous region, Nanjing in Jiangsu province and Beijing.

By the end of last year, more than 15,600 Chinese students had benefited from the program.

Honeywell Hometown Sol-utions focuses on five areas: science and math education, family safety and security, housing and shelter, habitat and conservation, and humanitarian relief.
