The store, called the Bookberry, has won praise of local residents as it is about to celebrate its two years' anniversary in a month.

Small and exquisite, the store provides a comfortable environment for children and parents to read, which is what Zhang aspired it to be.

"Many parents are attracted to our store because of its outside appearance. In fact, we have a lot of interesting things inside," said Zhang.

She believes the relation between books and children is not born naturally but built with the help of adults. The time and attention adults spend is a manifestation of their love.

Now the BookBerry has over 100 members.
