General Motors and its joint venture sales in September reached 277,647 units, up 13.7 percent year-on-year, according to the company news release.
Wuling brand sales in the month rose 18.4 percent to 129,648 units, and those of Baojun brand were 10,028, up 9.6 percent. In the first nine months, GM and its JV sales totaled 2,312,418 units with an increase of 11.1 percent, setting a new sales record in China.
