Hu Jintao (L), General Secretary of the
Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, escorts Honorary Chairman of
the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) Lien Chan, to a meeting room in Beijing's Great
Hall of the People April 16, 2006. Hu called on Sunday for talks between Beijing
