Scorching weather led to drought in Anhui

A water pond is drying up due to the month-long scorching
weather in Huangshan, east China's Anhui Province Thursday, August 17,
2006. The sustained high temperatures and lack of summer rainfall
have affected over 20,000 hectares of farmland, and led to drinking
