Two Chinese sailors take rigorous surveys on
navigation course and speed as the visiting Chinese missile cruiser
113 (Qingdao) and US missile cruiser 93 (Zhongyun) carried out a
six-hour-long joint marine communication and mobile drills on the
sea near Hawaii Monday, Septermber 11, 2006. This is the first time the
Chinese and US navies carry out such joint drills. [newsphoto]
