Local residents try to put out a forest fire in Qingyuan, a city
in South China's Guangdong Province on the early morning November 3, 2006.
The fire occurred at 10 p.m. Thursday, sweeping through the surrounding forest.
Over 500 residents, including local cadres joined the effort to extinguish the
fire, which is now under control but the cause is still unknown and under
