China, Russia cast veto against US on Myanmar

Chinese Ambassador to the UN Wang Guangya raises his hand to vote no on a
U.S. draft resolution on Myanmar at the United Nations in New York, January 12,
2007. Russia and China vetoed Friday a U.S. draft resolution which intends to
cast further pressure on Myanmar for its problems in political, economic and
