Mosque collapse kills at least seven

At least seven people were killed and four others badly injured after a mosque being constructed in Qinghai Province, northwestern China, collapsed Thursday.

Rescuers said Friday that about 20 people received injuries of different degrees and the casualties may increase as more people could be buried in the debris.

The mosque, located in a town inhabited by more than 18,000 Hui ethnic people, caved in at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday.
