Sexologist's home turned into education center

The former home of a famous sexologist was turned into a major sex education place in Raoping county, Guangdong province.

An unveiling ceremony for Zhang Jingsheng Sex Education Base was at Zhang's former home in the county's Darongpu village and it attracted many local officials, sexologists and residents.

In addition to pictures, books and magazines, the base exhibits many sexual and related objects.

Zhang (1888-1970) was the first person to have a doctorate in the Chaozhou and Shantou regions in the eastern part of Guangdong.

He is considered the first sexologist and the first family planning expert in China.
