Officials, teacher charged with rape

GUIYANG: Five officials and a schoolteacher will be tried next week on child rape charges in Guizhou province, the local government confirmed on Friday.

The suspects are accused of raping teenage girls, all primary and secondary school students in Xishui county, from October 2007 to July 2008.
