Hong Kong confirms 33 new cases of A(H1N1) influenza

HONG KONG -- A spokesman for the Hong Kong Department of Health said there had been 33 newly confirmed cases of A(H1N1) influenza in the 24 hours by 2:30 p.m. (0630 GMT) Saturday.

This brings the total number of A(H1N1) influenza cases to 629 in Hong Kong, the spokesman said.

The new cases involve 22 males and 11 females, aged between 2 and 52, said the spokesman.
