Li Xingguang, the director of the Traffic Management Bureau of Hegang, Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province, was stabbed to death Monday evening, Xinhua reported today.

Li was reportedly killed at his housing compound but exact details about his death are unavailable.

Hegang police are now investigating the incident.
