China targets online map services

China redoubled its effort to bust illegal online map websites that disclose sensitive information on the Internet, the Beijing Times reported Tuesday.
A joint effort involving 13 governmental departments is working on prohibiting disclosure of state secrets and strengthening the supervision of geographical information servers, according to the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping.
