The 2011 China International Travel Mart will be held in Kunming from October 27 to 30, an official with the China Tourism Bureau said Thursday. A record number of 95 countries are expected to attend the event.

In the first three quarters of 2011, domestic travelers in China totaled 1.98 billion，while inbound travelers reached 42 million and outbound travelers 51 million. The total revenue from tourism reached around $260 billion.

Held by the China Tourism Bureau, Civil Aviation Administration of China and the Yunnan Provincial Government, the 2011 China International Travel Mart is touted to be one of the largest travel events in Asia in terms of scale and influence.
