President Hu Jintao on Monday met with South African President Jacob Zuma while attending the 2012 Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul.

South Africa is China's largest trade partner in Africa, and the bilateral trade volume accounts for more than a quarter of China-Africa trade.

Both countries have stressed an emphasis on coordinating stances on important global and regional issues, and have kept in close communication and coordination in multilateral organizations and discussions, including the UN, G20, BRICS and BASIC.

The two leaders will also attend the fourth annual summit of BRICS leaders in New Delhi, scheduled from Wednesday to Thursday.
