On August 30, a man irritated by the loud noise caused by the dance music in a square near his home in Beijing, fired into the air with a double-barreled shotgun while intoxicated and dispersed the dancers. He was arrested by the police.

Media reports said that the man had previously released three Tibetan mastiffs in an attempt to scare the dancers.
