China Features affiliated to Xinhua News Agency and China Green Foundation co-launched a multimedia project in Beijing on Tuesday to better introduce the natural reserves along national borders, especially in the country's southwestern regions.

Reporters from China Features and delegates from the foundation as well as several other organizations, including the Wild Life Conservation Society, will use multiple websites and social network platforms to give panoramic views of those region’s natural environments, folklore, and tourist attractions.

The first stop of the project will be the Gaoligong mountains in Yunnan province. The mountains are among the most biologically diverse areas in China, and home to the world's highest-altitude rain forest.

China Green Foundation is an organization led by the State Forestry Administration, working to promote charity for the protection of the national ecology.
