NANCHANG - Zhao Zhiyong has been removed from his post as secretary-general of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Jiangxi Provincial Committee for suspected disciplinary violations, the CPC Jiangxi provincial committee said Tuesday.
Zhao was earlier sacked by the CPC Central Committee from his post as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, according to a brief statement by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee released on June 3.
Details about his suspected violations have not been revealed.
