HOHHOT - A former mayor of Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is being investigated for serious discipline and law violations, local authorities have said.
Tang Aijun, 64, served as mayor of Hohhot and deputy secretary of the Hohhot Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) between 2005 and 2010, the region's CPC discipline inspection commission announced.
