Prepare complaints about forced confession

Zhang Erjiang, former Party chief of Tianmen city, Hubei province, prepared for the worst when he was asked to "report on his work" to the provincial Party committee.

He wrote two letters, accusing the investigators of restricting his freedom and extorting confession by torture. The letters were given to one of his relatives, who was told to send the letter to top officials of the province if he didn't return in two days.

Zhang was placed under investigation after the meeting and the letters were later given to the investigators and became a joke.
