Nearly 10,000 students from Beijing’s University of Chinese Academy of Sciences received their degrees at a ceremony on July 5. The university's forerunner was the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences, founded in 1978 and the first graduate school in China approved by the State Council.
