Jade Belt Bridge, or Moon Bridge, is on the grounds of the Summer Palace on the western shore of Kunming Lake. The elegantly arched bridge, a traditional Chinese design, permitted passage of the Emperor's dragon boat. On special occasions the Emperor and Empress passed under this bridge while on Kunming Lake.
