When pets travel internationally

By Cui Jia | chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2017-01-08 16:48

As China attracts more international workers who don't want to leave their pets behind or decide to adopt locally, international pet relocation services have boomed in China.

Animals need more documents than their owners to travel internationally, including vaccination and health certificates. Although they may be stuck in their cages in the cargo hold with no cabin services, the cost of their travel can be just as high as a human passenger and sometimes even higher.

It's no surprise then that services to help navigate that process are in high demand.
