The train will be officially put into operation on May 21 on Ningbo subway's Line 1. Ningbo Railway Transit says that the hand-painted cartoon art on the train was created in response to the country's "One Belt, One Road" initiative. The plan, proposed by China in 2013, refers to the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road, international trade and infrastructure projects. [Photo/Chinanews.com] |
