Beijing museum displays Qing Dynasty relics from Forbidden City

An exhibition entitled "Hall of Mental Cultivation in the Forbidden City", which showcases 268 precious cultural relics from the Palace Museum, was unveiled at the Capital Museum in Beijing on Oct 11, 2016. Since the reign of the Yongzheng Emperor, the Hall of Mental Cultivation became the living quarters of the Qing Dynasty emperors. The exhibition restores the original indoor furnishings of the Hall, which gives visitors a chance to closely observe the life of the Qing Dynasty emperors. [Photo/VCG]
