Chinese shares prices drop 0.52% at midday

Chinese equities ended Wednesday's morning session 0.52 percent lower led by financial and real estate stocks.

The Shanghai A-share index slid 13.12 points, or 0.52 percent, to close at 2,514.06, while the Shenzhen Component Index lost 64.76 points, or 0.67 percent, to 9,613.42.

Losses outnumbered gains by 523 to 271 in Shanghai and 429 to 245 in Shenzhen.

Combined turnover was 141.4 billion yuan ($20.64 billion).
