Zhejiang Satellite TV based in Hangzhou has bought the copyright of the Dutch reality show Celebrity Splash, in which stars learn how to dive.
The Chinese version will work with Zhou Jihong, director of China's National Diving Team, and Tian Liang, a former Olympic champion.
Zhou works as the show's consultant and jury leader, while Tian instructs the contestants on and off the diving board. Singer Abao and TV hostess Wen Ya are among the first stars to train and compete in the weekly show, which will premiere in April.
