Retired woman spices her life up with shoplifting

To rejuvenate her life after retirement, a woman went on a shoplifting spree in downtown Beijing for the past three years until she was spotted last Friday.

After her arrest, police found 206 stolen clothing items at her home. None of them were unpacked or used.

The 57-year-old woman surnamed Zhou confessed to police that she had, since 2006, began stealing clothes to bring excitement to a life after retirement.
