As instrument adjustment requires high accuracy, research staff cannot wear gloves to keep warm and even their down jackets have to be totally covered by antistatic clothing.

TanSat was successfully launched and will transfer carbon dioxide data via a FY series ground receiving station, after which a team of atmospheric physicist will conduct high accuracy carbon dioxide distribution back calculations to create a usable and understandable summary of the observed data and before releasing it to the public.

TanSat will help explore global carbon dioxide distribution and contribute to the governance of greenhouse gas emissions to improve the global atmospheric environment from the roots.
