Dong Jiayin, president of Dehong media group, attended a special seminar on Aug 10 to discuss the role of the media in constructing Dehong into a bridgehead golden port.
Attendees at the seminar analyzed the current situation in Dehong. The plan to develop Western China and the establishment of Ruili into a bridgehead experimental city bring great opportunities for Dehong prefecture to develop its local economy.
All the media staff expressed their willingness and determination to play key roles in developing Dehong into a "bridgehead golden port."
Dong urged all media entities to realize the importance of the construction of a bridgehead and make full use of their resources to influence public opinion.
