Mr. YANG Shaolin is Director General of the Department of International Economic and Financial Cooperation, Ministry of Finance, People’s Republic of China. Prior to that, he was Director General of the Department of External Economic Cooperation, and Deputy Director General of the International Department. Mr. YANG joined the Ministry of Finance in 1992, and has worked in various positions responsible for bilateral and multilateral financial cooperation and economic policy research.
Mr. YANG has extensive experiences working with Multilateral Development Banks. During his career, Mr YANG served as the Executive Director for China at the World Bank, and the Alternate Executive Director for China at the Asian Development Bank. Mr. YANG holds a M.A. in Economics from the Old Dominion University in Virginia and a B.A. from the University of Maryland. He is married with one daughter.
