The Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) sent a delegation to Israel from May 8 to 12.

The delegation, led by Zhang Junkuo, Vice-President of DRC,visited Israel Innovation Authority, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Science and Technology, and learned about the country's innovation policies, development experience of new technological industries and cooperation mechanisms between China and Israel. The two sides exchanged views on research of economic and technological innovation policies.

The delegation also visited Technion and the Weizmann Institute of Science to discuss topics such as innovating the entrepreneurship education, promoting technology transfer and motivating scientific personnel.

The delegation was invited to the Agritech Israel 2018, the 20th International Agricultural Technology Exhibition, and communicated with enterprises from China and Israel on cutting-edge technology development situations in Israel.
