Ma Jiantang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with a delegation from the World Bankheaded by Victoria Kwakwa, World Bank Vice-President for East Asia and Pacific, on January 15, 2020.

Wang Yiming, Vice-President of DRC, and Kwakwa signed a memorandum of understanding on carrying out joint research on China's water resources on behalf of the DRC and the World Bank, respectively.

The two sides exchanged views on the joint research results on cultivating new drivers of China's economic growth and further cooperation fields and measures.
