Fujian Museum marks 80th anniversary with exhibition involving 7 provinces

Fujian Museum inaugurated an exhibition - showcasing 300 relics from 45 museums in seven provinces around the country - on Oct 18, as it marks its 80th anniversary.

Experts took three years to organize the “Maritime Silk Road historical relic exhibition from seven provinces”, which involves historical relics from provinces including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and Guangdong that will be showcased at the museum for three months, before the exhibition is moved to other provinces and then to the United Nations.

In addition, the museum has renovated its exhibition halls – which now include interactive features - which will allow visitors to enjoy the province’s own historical treasures even more than before.
